The co-financed campaign by Greece and European Union "Sea Food Fantastic" which is part of the approved "Promotion and improvement of the market for fishery and aquaculture products of the Prefecture of Kavala, in Italy, Spain, Belgium, Germany and Bulgaria", participated with significant success at the Anuga 2023 trade fair (HALL 05.1, Booth No B-062-A-061) on 7-11 of October 2023 at Koelnmesse, Fair Grounds, Cologne, Germany.
In the frame of the exhibition, a cooking show was also took place by the famous chef Minas Nitis who encouraged the visitors to taste the exceptional dishes, providing information about both ingredients and the Sea Food Fantastic campaign. Specifically, the recipes were:
Sea bass bruschetta with herb-infused olive oil and saffron red sauce.
Smoked sea bream with olive oil and lemon confit.
Sea bass ceviche with Greek herbs, flavored bulgur, and Dukkah (Duqqa).
Participants from the HoReCa sector, importers, distributors, journalists and other industry stakeholders had the unique chance to experience the distinctive European tastes of the showcased seafood products, gain a deeper understanding of their exceptional nutritional benefits, their European background and participate in discussions about potential partnership opportunities.
